WHAT I'M EXCITED ABOUT THIS WEEK
The Youth Theater production of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow opens at the Playhouse this week. Kaylee is stage managing, and the production photos look great. Tickets available here.

Anne of Green Gables opens the new season at UMD, directed by my talented friend Julie. Tickets available here.

JOURNAL
Kaylee and I went to La Ronde at Zeitgeist. A passion project (no pun intended) for my friend Robert, with many other friends involved.

The cast list for my next next show, God of Carnage, was announced this week. Tickets are on sale!

We also had our first God of Carnage rehearsal this weekend. I love this script and this cast, and I cannot wait for y’all to see it!

What I watched:
- The Master (2012). PTA, Joaquin Phoenix, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Scientology adjacency, and the kind of psuedo-love story that Anderson does so well. Brilliant.
What I’m reading:
- Middlemarch, Eiliot
- Vineland, Pynchon
- How To Stand Up To A Dictator, Ressa
MEMORIES
Five Years Ago:
We were having shoreline construction work done. It seems like all of my memories, no matter how far back I go since we have lived in our lake house, involve shoreline repairs.

MY FAVORITE POEM OF THE WEEK
Possibly the best poem ever written, by Peter Hazel (age 5)

That’s it for this week. Stay safe, friends. Thanks for reading!
